In 1996, Israel legislated the Equal Wage Law for female and male employees, with the aim of attempting to overcome discrimination between women and men in the labor market regarding wages or any other employment-related benefit.
The law states that a female and male employees who are employed by the same employer at the same workplace are entitled to equal pay for the same work, work that is mainly equal, or work of equal value.
In accordance with the requirements of the law, Maman Group publishes the public report “Click here”.
From the examination that was conducted, it was found that the wage gaps between men and women are not significant.
It is important to mention that most of the gaps (both in favor of men and in favor of women) arise from reasons of working additional hours and shifts, seniority and experience, unique professional characteristics, and compensation for business performance.
Maman Group will continue its egalitarian and respectful conduct toward every individual, as well as the ongoing promotion of gender equality.
Maman Logistics successfully passed the accreditation examination for the Business Continuity Standard – ISO 22301:2019.
The certificate was issued for the companies that participated in the process: Maman Cargo Terminals, Logisticare, Laufer Group, and Globus.
