MTR (Railway Industries Works), a subsidiary of Maman Group, specializes in the production, assembly, and maintenance of railway equipment for passenger cars, freight cars, and locomotives, as well as the production of metal assemblies for railways and heavy transport trucks. Our factory is located in Dimona and employs a skilled and professional technical team of over 70 employees who offer a wide range of services including:

• Assembly and quality control for assemblies for railway equipment
• Production of metal assemblies for railway equipment and heavy trucks
• Painting wagons and locomotives
• Repairs and regular maintenance of mobile equipment
MTR is certified to perform welding works according to the European standard for class 1 railway equipment and is an authorized supplier of the Israel Railways for the maintenance, repairs, and painting of mobile equipment such as passenger cars, freight cars, and locomotives. Additionally, we manufacture boxes for heavy trucks for the company “Transport Holdings”.
With extensive experience and professionalism, MTR has maintained a fleet of around 500 freight cars for the largest private train operator in Israel, Israel Chemicals Company, as well as flat freight cars for “Amit Hovolat Matanim Ltd.”
In addition to our local activity in Israel, we are a leading supplier of STADLER, an international diesel locomotive manufacturer, and manufacture many assemblies for them such as roofs, doors, snow ploughs, fuel tanks and more. We also have a client base of huge international companies in the railway sector such as Bombardier and Siemens
